Indeedely they are! The reason why I consider next band my extended family is due to the countless hours I've been nutting over their catchy melodies in recent months. I know it's a bit early to be saying this but Family Of The Year is currently my favorite band of 2011.
Their eclectic-sounding music is what really stuck out for me the first time I immersed myself in this listening experience, having influences from all genres of music, from jangly folk to electro-psychedelic, which are exactually my musical preferences right now. Definitely, this is one of those utterly captivating albums that I find myself loving more and more with each spin.

Lyric shouting and hand clapping in Stupidland remind me other bands like Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.
Chugjug is hella addictive! I just can't get first chords out of my head.
Summer Girl is the mushiest songs I've ever heard.
