It’s been a long, long, time since we've heard new music from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. In fact, I thought the band had already disintegrated! Well, duh!! They've recently announced the upcoming release of their third album after more than four years. The record will be called Hysterical (being probably a codeword for annoying fangirls) and will be released on September 12, with a US release scheduled for September 20.CYHSY have kept a lot of the details on the album's sound under wraps, but with four months to wait for its release, you can get a taste of it from the video teaser trailer below.
I know this music isn't to everybody's liking. The lead vocalist Alec Ounsworth's singing style often either makes you love or hate the band. His voice doesn't go unnoticed at all! Ok, he sings well, but sometimes it seems that he's got a couple of bevvies in him, lolol. However, the more you listen, the more you will get used to it!
